We went to the balloon glow this year. Usually we go to the launch, but we decided we craved sleeping in even more! The boys each got a balloon that had a little blinking light in it. Ethan kept pretending to launch his balloon like a rocket and every time he did Eric would scream at him thinking Ethan was going to lose his balloon (which was tethered to his wrist and Eric's was tied to his pants.) Claire just took it all in. We were not sure if it would scare her, but she was quiet the whole time. The DJ did a count down every time the balloons were to "glow." The boys loved that too! "5-4-3-2-1!"

I was so sad that they moved the launch this year, to the wetland park I heard. It's the first time we've missed it in years. Glad everyone enjoyed the glow! We had other plans, so we missed that too! How sad, at least there's next year.
